The Sorion vehicle side female J1962 connector is ideal for replacement of vehicle connectors or inclusion into test equipment.
The J1962 is fully compliant with ISO15031-3.6. This standard details both the vehicle connector physical dimensions and the requirements of the diagnostics connector. The connector is 12V (Type A) and can be used with care on 24V systems, although will not provide protection against a 12V diagnostics connector being connected.
The main connector body is supplied with the two blue crimp socket locking strips and 10 crimp contacts.
