The Sorion S1021 is an extremely useful device for the integration of digital signals into a small PC based system. The S1021 is a replacement for the S1008 offering both increased flexibility and operational range.
Interfacing to the PC using a standard RS232 to a free COM port and providing 4 opto-isolated digital inputs and 4 relay outputs, the compact dimensions of the S1021 provides flexibility in the provision of I/O remote from the PC chassis.
The S1021's inbuilt watchdog system ensures that the unit is protected from the possible adverse effects of a poor power supply and is always operational.
Moreover the S1021 has a very low power requirement and this is taken from either the field devices or a small plug in power adaptor as necessary.
Now available with the Sorion Binary Protocol for seamless integration.
